Meet Jennifer

Hi, my name is Jennifer Dionne.

 

I am a licensed massage therapist, functional yoga instructor, energy healer, and wellness coach. I have been practicing these modalities for almost 20 years.

Many years ago, I was in a serious car accident. It not only affected my job and my sleep but also created severe pain in my neck, head, spine, rib cage, clavicle, all the way down my arm. It was during this time that I was introduced to the world of alternative medicine and natural methods of healing.

After the accident, I began seeing a chiropractor, where I received mini massages, and doing yoga at home daily.  It was, I believe, the combination of treatments, including yoga, which I practiced twice daily, that helped me heal more quickly.

Shortly after, I become a licensed massage therapist and quickly found myself working side by side with a chiropractor where we not only worked with surgeries and injuries, but also professional athletes. In 2012, I acquired the additional skills of holistic nutrition coaching and additional energetic healing modalities, such as Craniosacral, Polarity therapy, and Yoga.  

Today it is my passion to assist individuals to connect with their bodies and listen to what their discomfort or pain is telling them. I strive to help them achieve that connection and show them how to work with it and get to a more tolerable and manageable place and space.  I believe that by listening to the body and creating space that allows energy to flow instead of building up in the etheric spaces, one can become more balanced and aligned. This will reflect not only in the body but also in the mind and spirit.

Tuning in and listening to the body’s queues and messages I am able to feel where the energy is “stuck” and help to facilitate movement.  Simplifying the connection between the body, mind, and spirit; in practical ways that can be incorporated into daily life. Using the combination of massage, yoga, energy healing, as well as awareness of patterns such as, emotions, daily habits, nutrition, and routines that shape and condition the way our body-mind feels and performs.  Combining the knowledge of your body’s history, whether it be illness, accidents, athletics, or postures formed in your body over time. Looking at activities of daily living and the postures you hold daily will help cultivate a unique session for you.
